How to keep someone?

Rio de Janeiro, 2014. Raquel asked a stranger to go to they house and photograph her as if I was part of them intimacy. It was the beginning of Collection of People, a collection of 4 projects: Lovers, Collectors, Artists and Spectators.

All the collections are accumulating. In every city she goes, she collect more people. From these one-to-one meetings, she creates shows, performances, conferences, books and exhibitions to create her own archive of the ephemeral.

The Collection of People - Performance / Conference presents some items from each of the four collections: how they happen, how they accumulate, how they collect, how they archive, always questioning the possibility of keeping the ephemeral.

This performance / conference is a presentation of this artistic research developed over a decade.
