As the greatest living document in the history of any people, a language must always be able to be a new language. The language belongs to the speaker and it is for the love of the language that one must believe in it, doubt it, remake it. Every day. Another Language is a performance-conference in which, based on the experience of Portuguese speakers from different countries, the question arises: is it possible, by intervening in language, to change the reality it describes? What language do we speak anyway? What stories and what history does the Portuguese language carry? Can everyone who speaks Portuguese say they speak the same language? And our language(s), what does it say about us? This is a project created by women from Angola, Brazil and Portugal. In it, lives the awareness that a good part of what we are depends on our crossing over to this symbolic content that precedes us; that it is through him that we shape both our views of the world and our possibilities of understanding what has happened, and who we are.
