In Time | Triptych on leisure
\\\"We have never seen each other. We have never exchanged a word or a gesture, but without knowing it, we are going to spend three weeks together.\\u201d A Tempo is a multidisciplinary creation in three acts, which challenges three pairs of artists from different languages \\u200b\\u200bto work around the same theme: the relationship between \\u201cbeing and time\\u201d. Without ever meeting, each pair works towards this common performative object that reflects, in three distinct axes \\u2013 Communication, Space and Memory \\u2013 the need to rethink time and the quality of relationships. Curated by Marco Paiva, A Tempo brings together Andr\\u00e9 Uerba and Tony Weaver (Communication), Andr\\u00e9 Murra\\u00e7as and Mia Menezes (Space) and Raquel Andr\\u00e9 and Aliu Baio (Memory).
A sound, a smell, a touch, a pain, a taste, a fragrance, an image, a perception. When a smell from our childhood or a distant past comes to mind, when a face of someone who has been blown away by the wind and life reaches our ears or eyes, or who death and its nature have not forgotten to tear from us, when, as we pass through the streets, a perfume brings to our memory the longing for a body and soul we have already embraced.<\\\/p>

What is memory? Who would we be without it?<\\\/span><\\\/div>
Memory: seven letters that form a word that is the human essence, which with time, which is its companion on the road, erase or revive the consequences and actions of an unpredictable life.<\\\/span><\\\/div>
Memory is the theme of the project A Tempo da Terra Amarela, curated by Marco Paiva and Aliu Baio and Raquel Andr\\u00e9 are one of the three pairs challenged in this project. Aliu has always wanted to work on a play and Raquel has not performed one for some time, and they also have in common the relationship they both have with the fear of losing their memory. In this project they explore scenic materials based on texts, music, movement, smells, encounters with people and other senses.<\\\/span><\\\/div>
