Raquel Andr\u00e9, 1986. She is a collector, performer, researcher, teacher, and artist.<\/span><\/p>

Currently, she is a phd student in the Department of Theatre Studies at the Faculty of Letters - University of Lisbon, with a scholarship from the Foundation for Science and Technology - in practice as research based on her own artistic practice, supervised by researcher Paula Casp\u00e3o. In 2016, she completed her Master's degree in Collecting in the Performing Arts at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, supervised by artist and researcher Eleonora Fabi\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p>

In 2011, she moved to Rio de Janeiro, and this changed her life as an artist, woman, and person. She was selected by INOVArt to do a 5-month artistic residency at Cia dos Atores in Rio and remained for 8 years. Brazil gave her professional experience as a director - she worked on 7 productions with director Bel Garcia, and experience in curating and programming at the Centro Cultural - Galp\u00e3o Gamboa, working with C\u00e9sar Augusto, Marco Nanini, and Fernando Libonati.<\/span><\/p>

The 10-year project - Collection of People - is an undeniable milestone in her career as a professional in the performing arts and interdisciplinary crossings. A vast, multidisciplinary and unique collection that brings together four projects: Collection of Lovers, Collection of Collectors, Collection of Artists and Collection of Spectators.<\/span><\/p>

In 2021 she worked in collaboration with other artists, directing the projects Outra L\u00edngua and Set the Table.<\/span><\/p>

In 2024 she premiered Belonging | E di | Pertenencia | Zugeh\u00f6rigkeit | Perten\u00e7a | \u7d46, a work that continues her artistic practice - meeting people and sharing their stories.<\/span><\/p>

In 2025 she premiered Starting All Over Again, a project directed in partnership with her partner Tonan Quito.<\/span><\/p>

She has already published three books: Collection of Lovers Vol. I, Collection of People and Belonging | E di | Pertenencia | Zugeh\u00f6rigkeit | Perten\u00e7a | \u7d46. In addition to shows, she has created three exhibitions; she is a trainer\/teacher in different contexts and has supervised several master's theses.<\/span><\/p>

Her work spans Portugal, Europe, North America and South America.
